Duties and Responsibilities

Specific Outputs/Tasks include but not limited to: • Conduct business analysis activities and gather detailed business requirements. • Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, workflows, process diagrams, and related project documentation. • Coordinate with business stakeholders, developers, and technical teams to ensure accurate understanding and implementation of requirements. • Assist in project planning, monitoring, and coordination activities. • Support solution design discussions and implementation activities. • Assist in defining system workflows, validation rules, reporting requirements, and dashboards. • Participate in testing activities including SIT, UAT, and defect management. • Support data migration validation and business verification activities. • Develop user manuals, training materials, and conduct user training sessions where required. • Support project governance, progress tracking, and status reporting. • Coordinate with external vendors and consultants involved in the FMIS implementation. • Ensure compliance with UNRWA IMT standards, project management frameworks, and quality assurance processes. • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/special skills

University degree from accredited educational institution in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Software Engineering or related discipline. · Minimum 4 years of experience in web application development using ASP.NET/.NET Core and MS SQL Server. · Experience in enterprise application development and implementation. · Experience developing APIs and integrations. · Experience in ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework/.NET Core, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies. · Experience with relational databases and SQL Server. · Experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization. · Familiarity with deployment environments and DevOps practices is desirable. · Experience with GIS integrations and dashboards is an asset.

Languages

English and Arabic are the working languages of UNRWA. For this assignment, fluency in both Arabic and English are required.

Additional Information

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE • The consultancy is based in UNRWA HQA Amman - Jordan. • The selected candidate will receive a monthly remuneration that is amounting to JOD 996.42 for every fully completed month. • The duration of the Contract is 9 months, and the possibility of extension is subject to the availability of funds, continuing need and satisfactory performance. • As part of Digital Impact, Technology and Innovation Department (DITID)and digital workspace the role works under the overall supervision of the Head Enterprise Business Solutions Section.
