The UNRWA Information Management Department is seeking an ASP.NET Developer to support the implementation and delivery of the FMIS project. Duties and Responsibilities

Specific Outputs/Tasks include but not limited to: · Build and maintain FMIS application modules using ASP.NET/.NET Core and related Microsoft technologies. · Develop and maintain organizational hierarchy, premises management, projects management, dashboards, reporting, and GIS-related modules. · Develop backend services, APIs, and integrations with internal and external systems. · Provide daily technical support and analyze business/system requirements. · Conduct bug fixing, troubleshooting, optimization, and quality assurance activities. · Review code and ensure application security, performance, and compliance with UNRWA standards. · Support deployment, UAT, production releases, and post-go-live stabilization activities. · Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and user manuals. · Deliver regular progress updates and backlog tracking reports. · Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with project stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Qualifications/special skills

University degree from accredited educational institution in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fdiscipline. · Minimum 4 years of experience in web application development using ASP.NET/.NET Core and MS SQL Server. · Experience in enterprise application development and implementation. · Experience developing APIs and integrations. · Experience in ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework/.NET Core, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies. · Experience with relational databases and SQL Server. · Experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization. · Familiarity with deployment environments and DevOps practices is desirable. · Experience with GIS integrations and dashboards is an asset.

Languages

English and Arabic are the working languages of UNRWA. For this assignment, fluency in both Arabic and English are required.

Additional Information

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE • The consultancy is based in UNRWA HQA Amman - Jordan. • The selected candidate will receive a monthly remuneration that is amounting to JOD 996.42 for every fully completed month. • The duration of the Contract is 7 months, and the possibility of extension is subject to the availability of funds, continuing need and satisfactory performance. • As part of Digital Impact, Technology and Innovation Department (DITID)and digital workspace the role works under the overall supervision of the Head Software Development Section & Lead Solution Architecture.
